Fran joined OFN in September 2012 as Chief Financial Officer. Fran is also a member of OFN’s Investment Committee. Prior to working for OFN, Fran served over 20 years as a senior leader in the financial services industry, specializing in international banking, structured finance, cash management, capital markets, and wealth advisory services. His banking career spans both community banks and the largest banks in the world. Most recently, Fran was Group CFO for a private multinational group of diversified businesses operating globally in the healthcare, IT, real estate, and manufacturing industries. Fran lived, worked, and traveled extensively overseas and serves on the board of several nonprofit, educational, and religious organizations. He is married with two children, two dogs, and two cats. He is an avid outdoorsman.

Beth Lipson

EVP, Strategic Initiatives

Beth joined OFN in 1997 and currently serves as EVP, Strategic Initiatives. In her 19-year tenure, Beth has worked on the Financial Services team for nine years, worked as the CFO, and created the role of EVP, Strategic Initiatives in 2012, which she still holds. In this role, she manages OFN's significant cross-functional initiatives, including the NEXT Awards, OFN’s CDFI Certificate Program, Wells Fargo Diverse Community Capital Program, and previously, the Create Jobs for USA partnership with Starbucks. Beth also serves on OFN’s Investment Committee. Beth has a MBA from the Wharton School, and her previous experiences include valuing businesses at Coopers and Lybrand and researching trends in savings and loans at the Federal Reserve Board.

Robin Odland

Robin joined OFN in 2012. As EVP and Senior Lending Officer, Robin is responsible for OFN’s lending activities. He overseas nearly $500 million in total capital under management, including OFN’s $100mm+ direct lending Financing Fund, New Market Tax Credit Allocations, CDFI Bond Guarantee Program bond issuances, and OFN’s asset management and advisory services business. Prior to joining OFN, Robin held senior lending positions with other mortgage and finance organizations such as Capmark Finance and RAIT Investment Trust and the National Cooperative Bank. Robin holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Economics and Sociology from the University of Wisconsin—Madison.

Annie joined OFN in January 2016 to manage OFN’s equity initiative and quickly demonstrated a strong capacity to provide insight and wisdom to organization-wide practices and challenges. In August 2016, Annie assumed oversight of OFN’s human resources activities, in addition to her important role as the leader of our equity, diversity, and inclusion work. In her role of SVP, Equity, Inclusion, and Human Capital she ensures that OFN is building strategic enterprise-wide thinking to lead us into our future. Annie is continuing her doctoral work at Penn State towards the completion of a PhD in Adult Education. Her dissertation topic is: “The Impact of Workplace Climate on Staff”. Her previous experience includes 15 years of work in education beginning in the School District of Philadelphia then broadening to higher education at Penn State University and Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo, focusing on access, success factors, climate, diversity, inclusion, equal opportunity, and organizational change.

Donna Fabiani

Donna joined OFN in 2007 and leads OFN’s Membership, Peer Learning, and Research lines of business. Donna organizes the annual OFN Conference, the premier training event in the CDFI industry, and the annual OFN Small Business Finance Forum. Donna leads OFN’s data collection and research activities, and is responsible for producing OFN’s signature annual publication Opportunity Finance Institutions Side by Side as well as a variety of research reports. Before joining OFN, Donna spent eight years with the CDFI Fund managing research, leading the development of the CDFI Fund’s data collection initiative, and underwriting CDFIs. Prior to her role with the CDFI Fund, Donna started and managed FINCA USA, a microenterprise CDFI. Donna holds a B.A. from Colby College and a Master in Public Affairs from the Woodrow Wilson School of Public and International Affairs at Princeton University.

Seth joined OFN in October of 2011 and is responsible for sustaining and growing the OFN membership. Seth oversees membership processes including recruitment, application review, application decision, annual Member review, renewal, and overall stewardship of the membership. In addition to membership, he is responsible for managing elements of OFN’s peer learning events and being a knowledgeable resource to all OFN departments regarding Member data and performance. Prior to OFN, he worked for Brown & Brown insurance, one of the largest insurance intermediaries in the world, as a business development executive researching and examining insurance policies.

Liz joined OFN in 2014 as Executive Vice President, Public Policy. Based out of OFN’s office in Washington, D.C., Liz leads OFN’s federal and state policy efforts, focusing on developing, supporting and influencing implementation of polices that benefit Community Development Financial Institutions (CDFIs) and the markets they serve. Liz has extensive experience as an attorney, advocate and lobbyist, most recently serving as Of Counsel at Barnes & Thornburg LLP’s Federal Relations Group in Washington, D.C. Liz’s clients have included Fortune 500 companies, national trade associations and a Native American tribe. She regularly works with House and Senate leadership, Minority Congressional Caucuses and other key Washington stakeholders Liz has held numerous elected leadership positions including Hispanic National Bar Association (HNBA) National Vice President of External Affairs and Hispanic Lobbyists Association (HLA) Board Member. She graduated with an A.B. in Political Science from the University of Chicago and earned her J.D. from Boston College Law School.

Lina joined OFN in 2004, and plays a critical role in developing OFN’s strategic communications plan, including building brand, setting marketing communications strategy, and launching marketing outreach and public relations campaigns to drive business results. From 2004 through 2008 Lina created marketing and outreach campaigns for the Native American Training Initiative/Native Communities Financing Initiative, using a mix of print, online, and direct marketing techniques to build awareness and drive applications for Native training. She also implemented public relations to promote the Native Awards, and developed new marketing tools, such as the Native Program Guide, to highlight the Native Convening and generate attendance for the Native Track at the OFN Conference. Lina has 20 years experience building brand awareness in dynamic fields such as financial services, biometric security, information technology, and publishing. Her expertise includes branding, leadership positioning, marketing strategy, and integrated marketing programs to support business objectives. Prior to OFN, she was the Director of Global Marketing for biometric security company Iridian Technologies. Lina also worked as Vice President for Corporate Communications at Paytrust, an Internet-based financial services organization. Before Paytrust she served as Director of Marketing Communications for several global software companies, including Logic Works, Inc., Revelation Technologies, and Information Builders, Inc. She also conducted marketing for the publisher Random House, Inc.

Pam joined OFN in May 2010 and leads OFN’s strategic consulting practice, providing expertise to CDFIs, lenders, and investors. Prior to joining OFN, Pam spent 10 years as an executive at Right Management, a talent management consulting firm operating in 50 countries, most recently as the EVP of Strategy and Planning. Previous leadership roles at Right Management included: Executive Vice President for Global Product Management; Senior Vice President and Global Leader of Service Quality; and Vice President of eBusiness/Technology. Pam’s previous consulting experiences include leading boutique consulting firms Stepping Stone Partners and Omnient Corporation, offering strategy, financial and technology services. Earlier in her career, Pam worked in corporate finance officer at JP Morgan. Pam was appointed by the Department of Commerce to serve on the Board of Examiners for the Baldrige National Quality Award, and she is also a member of the Forum of Executive Women.
