For more than 40 years, CDFIs have worked to provide opportunity across rural, urban, and Native communities underserved by mainstream finance. Join CDFI practitioners, partners, funders and investors, policy makers, students, and other supporters at OFN’s 2021 events to learn, network, and collaborate. Whether you’re a veteran of the industry or new to CDFIs, let's come together to ensure a just economic recovery and combat racial inequality across America.
Building off our successful pivot to virtual events in 2020, OFN will offer fully virtual events and trainings again in 2021. This year’s lineup includes a mix of signature OFN events, as well as brand-new offerings, providing the benefits of the in-person experience while also prioritizing safety and expanding accessibility.
2021 OFN Virtual Conference
The 37th annual OFN Conference on October 19-21 will feature thought-provoking plenaries, informative breakout sessions, and time to connect with peers and others in the CDFI industry. The theme — “Finance Justice. Finance Change.” — expands on last year’s “Finance Justice” theme to highlight how CDFIs drive change. We encourage all staff at CDFIs, and all impact-oriented students, investors, funders, and policymakers to join us for this inspiring, four-day event. Register now!
CONNECT+ Forums and Webinars
OFN is pleased to announce our new CONNECT+ training program, featuring an enhanced webinar series and two half-day virtual forums. In lieu of this year’s annual in-person Small Business Finance Forum and Regional Meetings, both the forums and webinars will provide an opportunity for CDFI practitioners, partners, and other industry supporters to learn and connect on issues affecting community-based lenders and the unique communities they each serve.
The forums will take place this summer and fall. Topics will focus on building equitable resilience on June 30 and CDFI growth in September (date TBD). Stay tuned for more details and registration!
