This week OFN hosted the Midwest Regional Meeting at the Minneapolis Fed. More than 50 CDFI practitioners joined funders, investors, and policymakers for a day of engaging conversation and networking.
During the course of the day, attendees:
- Gained insights on public policy from OFN Chief External Affairs Officer Jennifer Vasiloff
- Learned more about Opportunity Zones and how CDFIs are considering ways to deploy funds into low-income communities in their regions from Rachel Reilly, Enterprise Community Partners, and Katey Forth, Cinnaire
- Heard directly from a panel of borrowers about what it is like to work with a CDFI
- Focused on Midwest region data from the 2017 Small Business Credit Survey
