CDFI borrower and project site visits with legislators are great opportunities for members of Congress to learn about CDFI services in local communities. They’re also a chance for these elected officials to meet with borrowers, who are their constituents, and see the impact CDFIs have on the ground in the communities legislators serve.

Earlier this month, OFN’s Public Policy team encouraged OFN Members to schedule site visits with their members of Congress while legislators were in their home district/states from April 10-21.

OFN is tracking which congressional offices are participating in CDFI site visits so we can inform OFN Members which elected officials still need to meet with a CDFI during the next in-district work period. If you scheduled a site visit in April, please fill out this form by April 28.

If you did not schedule a site visit in April, you can still engage with your members of Congress during other upcoming in-district work periods: July 3-7 and August 1-31.  Check out OFN's Congressional Site Visit Toolkit for meeting request samples. If you have any questions as to how to schedule a site visit, please contact Katie Havlovic at
