At the World Economic Forum in Davos on January 23, The Rockefeller Foundation and The Mastercard Center for Inclusive Growth announced the relaunch of data.org, a partnership platform that will continue to build the field of data science for social impact. This is the next chapter of a $50 million commitment that The Rockefeller Foundation made last year to launch a transformational model for philanthropy.
As part of the announcement, data.org will launch a new $10 million impact challenge to crowdsource scalable and sustainable data science solutions for nonprofit, civic, and government organizations. Challenge terms and conditions will be available in March 2020.
