The Federal Reserve Board will host "Fed Listens: Perspectives on Maximum Employment and Price Stability" in Washington, D.C., on Friday, October 4, from 2-5:15 PM EST. In addition to opening remarks from Chair Jerome Powell, OFN President & CEO Lisa Mensah will join representatives from AARP, Home Depot, and the National Federation of Independent Business in a panel discussion moderated by Vice Chair for Supervision Randal K. Quarles on the topic “The Importance of Price Stability and Low Inflation in Today’s Economy.” 

Throughout 2019, the Federal Reserve Banks and the Federal Reserve Board are holding Fed Listens events around the country to hear perspectives from representatives of business and industry, labor leaders, community and economic development officials, academics, nonprofit organization executives, and others.
