CDFIs are an essential part of our nation's financial ecosystem. And we are here to stay. Our work takes us where mainstream capital is scarce. We empower people to act in the best interests of their communities, themselves, and future generations.
We invest in rural, urban, and Native communities. In small businesses and microenterprises, community health centers, and charter schools. In affordable housing, home ownership, and consumer financial health. In the American dream of opportunity for all.
The OFN Conference is the largest annual gathering of the CDFI industry. Registration opens in early August, but we can't wait until then to share some highlights:
- Fast-paced Agenda: Note that though the Conference is a half day shorter this year—ending on Thursday, September 28—our curriculum is as jam-packed as ever, including a closing keynote speaker and networking dinners Thursday evening that will highlight the many neighborhoods in the Capital City.
- Advocacy: OFN plans to organize Advocacy Activities on the pre-Conference day, September 26. Look for details soon.
- Hotel Registration Now Open: Register before August 25 to secure your room rate of $279/night.
- Sponsorship: Opportunities abound to sponsor or exhibit at the Conference! Contact Amanda Joseph at firstname.lastname@example.org.
This year, more than 1,300 practitioners, investors, funders, researchers, and students are expected to gather to learn, to advocate, and to celebrate the work that we do. See you in Washington, D.C. September 26–28.
