With funding from the Minority Business Development Agency, the US Black Chambers of Commerce (USBC) is launching the Capital Pathways Program, a series of 10 free educational workshops across the nation for diverse and women business owners. Through Capital Pathways, participants will hear from and connect directly with credit experts, lenders and investors about how they can effectively fund and expand their businesses.
OFN will be working with USBC to promote awareness of the Capital Pathways workshops among local CDFIs to serve as experts and speakers. In addition to CDFIs, USBC is partnering with the National Foundation of Credit Counseling and BB&T among others, to deliver these critically important workshops.
Learn more about Capital Pathways and register for a workshop. If you’re a CDFI interested in speaking at one of these workshops, contact Lauren Stebbins, Vice President for Small Business Initiatives.
