How are you reaching your target audience? Knowing which channels to use, and how to use each resource effectively can be a daunting task. To help CDFIs have a greater impact and reach more consumers, OFN will launch a new Consumer Finance Marketing Toolkit. This easy to use online resource is designed to help CDFIs strengthen how they market their consumer products and services.
The resources in the toolkit are based on a survey of consumers, interviews with CDFIs, and pilot testing with three CDFIs, and include customizable marketing materials that reflect a new value proposition intended to attract new consumers to your CDFI.
In advance of the launch, OFN is hosting a webinar featuring Mia Mendoza, Principal of The Mendoza Group, a firm with expertise in multicultural marketing. Mia helped shape the value proposition and spent considerable time learning not only from CDFIs but also spoke with leaders at the National Federation of Community Development Credit Unions, and Community Development Bankers Association. In addition, representatives from the three CDFIs who participated in the pilot will share their experiences:
