OFN’s talented EVP of Strategic Communications, Lina Page, is joining the senior leadership team of OFN member Homewise next month as the organization’s Senior Director of Communications.
In her 17 years at OFN, Lina has led brand and marketing communications with creativity and skill. Lina was hired to rebrand OFN (from its prior identity as National Community Capital Association) to attract significantly more capital and communicate with new audiences.
During her tenure, Lina developed communications campaigns to highlight the role of CDFIs during several landscape shifts, including the Great Recession, a rise in national unemployment, predatory lending, disaster recovery, racial reckoning, and the pandemic. Lina has championed her team to excellence in delivering the design and content of a new website, developing the theme of OFN’s annual conference, and promoting OFN’s products and services to prospective investors and donors, policymakers, and to the CDFI industry.
“We are delighted that Lina Page will be joining Homewise,” said Homewise President Laura Altomare. “Lina brings deep CDFI industry knowledge, a track record of brand and strategic communications success, and proven skills to advance the visibility and reputation of Homewise. She will serve as a strategic partner on the senior leadership team. Under her leadership we look forward to driving more awareness of the power of home ownership to help individuals and families improve their long-term financial well-being and quality of life.”
OFN President & CEO Lisa Mensah congratulated Lina on her appointment. “I join the entire OFN staff in thanking Lina for her countless contributions to OFN. Luckily, Lina will remain close; still part of the OFN family at one of the premier CDFIs focused on affordable housing.”
