OFN Webinar Recap — Tech it Up: Leveraging Technology for Impact, Growth & Collaboration
On February 23, OFN held its first CONNECT+ Webinar of 2022 — Tech it Up: Leveraging Technology for Impact, Growth & Collaboration. Led by Jenny Lee and Priscilla Woo from Working Solutions CDFI and Jennifer Hayes from Invest Detroit, the webinar offered valuable insights to more than 125 attendees about how CDFIs can effectively leverage technology to increase their impact in communities they serve.
The panelists discussed lessons learned about how their organizations have streamlined, changed, or integrated their technology strategy during the pandemic, with an eye to the future of remote and hybrid work. They also reviewed opportunities and limitations of platforms that promote better staff collaboration and project management, as well as platforms for simplifying and speeding up program deployment from pipeline development to loan underwriting.
Following the panel, OFN shared announcements about the new CDFI Connect Technology in CDFIs community for OFN members, as well as the OFN CDFI Technology Grant Program supported by Google.org, which is accepting applications from OFN member CDFIs until March 31. The webinar concluded with an interactive Q&A for attendees and panelists.
