OFN’s 40th Annual Conference Call for Sessions Now Open!

Help shape the conference by submitting a session proposal and nominating a visionary CDFI leader for the industry’s lifetime achievement award.

This October 21-24, thousands of CDFI practitioners, investors, funders, policymakers, and other social, economic, and climate justice partners will gather in downtown Los Angeles for OFN40 — the 40th annual OFN Conference.  

Together, we’ll learn, collaborate, and celebrate the work CDFIs do every day to create economic opportunity in our vibrant rural, urban, and Native communities from coast to coast.  

The conference offers thought-provoking plenaries, expert-led breakout sessions, interactive training, facilitated networking, engaging tours of CDFI impact on the ground, industry awards honoring distinguished leaders, and much more.

Help Shape the Conference: Submit a Session Proposal, Nominate a Leader

You’re a key part of this industry convening! We have two powerful calls to action for you: Help us shape the conference by submitting a session proposal and help us honor a visionary CDFI leader for the Ned Gramlich Lifetime Achievement Award for Responsible Finance.  

Submit a Session Proposal  

This year, we aim to offer 80-90 breakout sessions across 15 tracks on topics of critical importance to CDFIs and industry stakeholders — and we need you to make it happen!   

Is there a topic you think would make a compelling conference session? Do you know subject matter experts working across diverse roles, geographies, and experiences — in or outside of the CDFI industry — who can speak effectively on the topic? Consider submitting a session proposal!  

The deadline for proposals is June 21, 2024, at 11:59 p.m. PT. 

Before submitting a proposal, please review the Call for Sessions Guidelines and Practice document. 

Nominate a CDFI Leader for the Gramlich Award 

Presented each year at the OFN Conference, the Ned Gramlich Lifetime Achievement Award for Responsible Finance honors distinguished CDFI industry leaders who have dedicated their lives to aligning capital with justice.

Consider nominating someone for this prestigious CDFI industry award! Three nominations are required for consideration to receive the 2024 Gramlich Award. Please note previous winners and current OFN Board members are not eligible for the award. 

Nominations are due by Friday, June 21, at 11:59 p.m. PT.
