Save the Date—2020 Small Business Finance Forum: Virtual Edition!
Donna Fabiani
This year, the Small Business Finance Forum takes place during a global pandemic. CDFIs—America’s financial first responders—are working tirelessly to provide COVID-19 relief and recovery assistance to small businesses while also figuring out how to sustain their own organizations. This fast-moving health and economic crisis is impacting all of us to varying degrees, as we see friends, family, and neighbors contract the virus or lose their jobs.
It is in this context that we offer an opportunity for the CDFI industry’s small business community to come together to support each other. We invite you join us this June 16-17 at the 2020 Small Business Finance Forum: Virtual Edition.
Since 2012, the Small Business Finance Forum has provided CDFIs and other mission-driven small business lenders with timely guidance, inspiration, and a chance to connect. Now in our ninth year, we are not missing a beat. We are adapting our format to be virtual and will continue to provide you with the value you expect and need, especially in this extraordinary time.
This year’s virtual event will place a primary focus on COVID-19 short-term relief and long-term recovery efforts for small businesses, as well as the long-term sustainability and resilience of CDFIs. With nearly 400 attendees in 2019, we hope this year’s virtual Forum will reach an even larger audience, particularly as we fight to #KeepCDFIsStrong.
Stay tuned in the coming weeks for registration, plenary speakers, breakout session topics, guidance for virtual participation, and more.
See you in June at our first-ever virtual Forum!
