This Year’s Conference Theme: Finance Justice

Registration for the annual OFN Conference will open in mid-September. In just a few weeks’ time, OFN will post the agenda and invite the CDFI field and our supporters to join us online from November 9 through November 12.

“Our theme this year is Finance Justice. CDFIs combat economic inequality by matching capital to communities in deep need. When CDFIs offer loans and technical support to business owners, projects, and consumers that others can’t reach, they offer a way forward for people and places struggling against the economic impact of the pandemic, compounded by long-standing issues of racial inequality and persistent poverty,” said OFN President and CEO Lisa Mensah. “Join us in taking on the challenge to do more.”

This marks the 36th year OFN will hold the premier event for CDFI practitioners, funders, impact investors, policy makers, and other advocates of economic opportunity and justice. Our new, virtual format will offer four half-days of inspiring plenaries, energizing sessions, distinguished speakers, and CDFI borrowers from across the country. There will also be many opportunities to chat, join discussion groups, and network virtually. Whether you are a first-time attendee or a returning participant there will be something for everyone.
