Kevin is a 15+ year inclusive finance veteran with a particular interest in the role of technology and data in the digitalization of the CDFI business model with the goal of becoming a more standardized, scalable, resilient, and client-centric industry. With a career spanning global and domestic markets, Kevin has most recently served as the Washington Area Community Investment Fund’s (Wacif) Interim Chief Executive Officer and Chief Financial & Operating Officer leading digitalization and scale efforts. Prior to Wacif, Kevin led the Risk Management Initiative in Microfinance (RIM), an innovative global inclusive finance risk management standards-setting collaborative, led the Advisory Services division of MFX Solutions, an impact finance currency hedging facility, oversaw World Relief’s global microfinance network and served as Faculty and Subject Matter Expert – Risk for Accion International’s Africa Board Fellowship program. Kevin has overseen multiple technology implementation, data integration, and change management projects and is wired to drive operational efficiency at scale.
Kevin currently serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Credit Builders Alliance (CBA) and CBA Fund and has sat on the Board of Directors of numerous regulated and unregulated financial institutions and the Professional Risk Managers’ International Association (PRMIA), amongst other nonprofits. Kevin holds an MA in International Development with a specialization in Microfinance from Eastern University, as well as specialized ALM training from the International Faculty of Finance and is a Certified Expert in Risk Management from the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management.
