Milinda’s Candidate Statement

I am excited to share my candidacy and ask for your vote for the OFN board of directors.

Three years ago, I joined Grow in the CEO role to restructure the organization and increase lending. Our organization has grown with the support of funders, a versatile team and a strong national network that saw the opportunity for Grow to have a larger impact in West Michigan. Prior to the pandemic, Grow would lend $250k a year and last year we lent over $1 Million dollars to small businesses!

My path has not been linear in the CDFI world and I do believe my experiences in human resources, workforce development and municipal government have been a strong foundation to our growth over these last three years.
