Nelly’s Candidate Statement

I am honored to submit my candidacy for the Board of Directors of the Opportunity Finance Network (OFN). With more than 20 years of experience in community and economic development, I am eager to share my knowledge and expertise with OFN and its members to further advance our mission of ensuring equitable access to financial products services across underserved communities.

As the Chief Financial Officer at the National Association for Latino Community Asset Builders (NALCAB), I am deeply invested in the mission to enhance economic mobility and stability in Latino and other underserved communities. My work supports community builders in promoting affordable housing, small business investment, financial coaching, and advocacy for racial and economic justice.
