Ryan N. Gremillion
SVP, Policy and Research at the African American Alliance of CDFI CEOs
Ryan leads strategic initiatives to advance economic equity, small business growth, and affordable housing for underserved communities. Under his leadership, the Alliance has spearheaded innovative programs to increase capital access for minority-owned businesses, including initiatives that offer affordable credit options and tailored technical assistance for Black entrepreneurs. Before joining the Alliance, Ryan served as Chief of Staff at the Louisiana Department of Education’s Office of Legislative Affairs and Policy, where he was instrumental in passing over 20 key pieces of legislation, including the state’s landmark FAFSA high school graduation requirement, which significantly increased college access for students across Louisiana. A native of Louisiana, Ryan holds a Juris Doctor from the Tulane University School of Law and a Bachelor of Science in International Trade and Finance from Louisiana State University.
