Summary
We’re looking for the next Accountant & Client Finance Manager to join our team.
Skopos is growing and to achieve our a) near-term goals and b) visionary aspirations we are hiring a person who embodies Skopos values. We are interviewing candidates with a track record of success contributing to high-growth, fast-paced, dynamic organizations – and their clients.
Responsibilities
Candidates should consider applying if they hold:
- 5+ years of successfully designing, implementing, and using QBO
- 3+ years of client-facing experience, including with founders and owners of small businesses (SMB)
- 5+ years of complex problem solving, ideally with small businesses
- The ability to create clarity out of ambiguity with inquisitive curiosity
- The ability to relate business models, practices and functions to accounting and financial needs/insight (process-oriented)
- The desire to evolve their career towards strategic finance and/or entrepreneurship (grow from installing the Finance/Accounting function – including QBO – to using financial insight as a CFO-like advisor)
- Have 5+ years of Google Sheets & /or MS Excel
You will ideally be local to NYC, though the role is located out of home/remote office, with occasional meetings in-person with clients and Skopos CEO and our collaborators.
