Summary

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist II at HOPE, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the organization’s future by identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to support our mission-driven work. This position involves managing the full recruitment cycle, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates for a variety of roles across the credit union. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies, ensuring a diverse and qualified workforce. Additionally, you will contribute to the continuous improvement of recruitment processes, fostering a positive candidate experience and supporting the growth and success of HOPE.

 

Responsibilities

  • Full-Cycle Recruitment:
    • Lead and execute all stages of the recruitment process, including job posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, selection, and onboarding.
    • Develop and implement effective sourcing strategies to attract a diverse pool of qualified candidates through various channels (e.g., job boards, social media, networking, and partnerships with educational institutions).
  • Collaboration with Hiring Managers:
    • Partner with department managers to identify staffing needs and job requirements for open positions.
    • Provide guidance and support to hiring managers throughout the recruitment process, including interview techniques and candidate evaluation.
  • Candidate Experience:
    • Ensure a positive and professional experience for all candidates by maintaining timely communication and providing feedback throughout the recruitment process.
    • Coordinate and conduct interviews and assessments
  • Employer Branding:
    • Promote Hope Credit Union as an employer of choice by highlighting the organization’s mission, culture, and benefits in all recruitment materials and interactions.
    • Participate in career fairs, networking events, and other outreach activities to increase brand awareness and attract talent.
  • Data Management and Reporting:
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
    • Analyze recruitment metrics and provide regular reports on hiring activities, trends, and outcomes to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Continuously evaluate and improve recruitment processes and tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
    • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and legal requirements related to recruitment and employment.
  • Diversity and Inclusion:
    • Actively support and promote diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives in all recruitment efforts.
    • Develop strategies to reach and engage underrepresented talent pools.

Requirements

Desired Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of recruiting experience specifically within the banking or financial services industry preferred
  • Proven track record in recruiting for various roles within banking and financial services, including commercial banking, retail banking, financial advisors, compliance officers, loan officers, etc.
  • Experience with diversity recruitment initiatives
  • Familiarity with high-volume recruitment and managing multiple requisitions simultaneously.
