Our Opening Plenary panel, Closing the Gap in Communities Left Behind, provided a rousing, in-depth conversation that explored what it will take for CDFIs to generate macro-level impact in our nation’s most economically challenged areas.
OFN Conference opened on Wednesday, September 27 with a call to “Hold On, Be Strong.” As one attendee wrote on Twitter “WOW! What a way to start the day!"
On the afternoon September 26, seventy-seven individuals from the CDFI industry represented 59 different organizations in the halls of Capitol Hill. As a result, close to 100 congressional offices in both chambers and on both sides of the aisle heard directly from CDFIs about CDFI impact.
