On the afternoon September 26, seventy-seven individuals from the CDFI industry represented 59 different organizations in the halls of Capitol Hill. As a result, close to 100 congressional offices in both chambers and on both sides of the aisle heard directly from CDFIs about CDFI impact.
We're exhausted but also feeling great and heartened by our experiences at yesterday's OFN Advocacy Day in DC!
Earlier this year, OFN kicked off a yearlong #CDFIsInvest campaign to educate members of the new 115th Congress about CDFIs and urge them to fund the CDFI Fund at $250MM in FY18.
Nearly 90 OFN Members and Allies will converge on Capitol Hill for OFN's 2017 Advocacy Day on May 17—and you can join them. Advocate for CDFIs… from your desk!
We hope you will add your voice to the #CDFIsInvest campaign to ask Congress to support full funding of the CDFI Fund at $250 million in both FY17 and FY18.
