Our 2016 Advocacy Day on May 25 was a great opportunity for OFN Members and staff to seek support for the policy priorities in the FY 2017 budget. Our Members met with more than 100 congressional offices to share the impact CDFIs have across the country in sparking job growth where it is needed most. OFN Members and allies engaged in a record-breaking Virtual Advocacy Day; from our Thunderclap Campaign which reached more than 400,000 in one instant, to the daily posts that created nearly 2MM impressions across social media, we even saw engagement from policymakers.

Whether you joined us in D.C. in person or supported our Virtual Advocacy Day Campaign, your participation had a powerful impact. As Congress works on the FY 2017 budget, OFN will keep you up to do date on where we stand in the appropriations process.
